Our Mission for 2008-2009
During the 2008-2009 school year, we will advance the level of the achievement of all Viers Mill Elementary School students' reading comprehension in all content areas.
All students will exceed the state guidelines for adequate yearly progress in reading as measured on the MSA tests. We will achieve our goal through high quality teaching, effective use of resources, and empowerment of students, parents, and community members.

Mission Statement
We believe that all students, regardless of race, gender or socioeconomic status, will experience a high level of learning at Viers Mill Elementary.
Staff will be responsible for creating an environment that ensures academic success.
