How to Join
First, print the PTA membership form -- PTA Membership form. Simply place your completed membership form, along with your dues ($10 single membership, $15 double membership), into an envelope marked “PTA Mailbox – Membership,” and return to the school in your child’s home-school folder.
In addition, we always have a membership table set up at PTA school events. Or, you may contact Lauren Vaughan or Karen Anzalone, co-1st Vice Presidents.
Reasons to Join
The GES PTA offers you an opportunity to become a partner in your child's education. By becoming involved in the GES PTA, you contribute to the enrichment of programs at Germantown Elementary School. It is also a great way to get to know the faculty and staff, as well as the other families that make up our special Germantown Elementary School community.
Central to the success of our PTA's partnership with the school is the willingness of parents to get involved in the school and with the PTA. We invite you to become active in the PTA. Your membership and volunteer efforts support academic programs as well as social activities at Germantown Elementary School, thus contributing to the highest advantages in educating our children
As a member of the GES PTA, you will have the opportunity to:
- learn about important issues affecting children in your community;
- offer your experience and expertise in developing programs and projects that benefit children;
- become a voice for children by communicating with local and state decision makers;
- obtain resources and other materials on a wide variety of concerns facing today's parents and families;
- grow personally through leadership development training;
- support school activities that strengthen the family-school-community partnership; and
- network with other individuals who share your same concerns.
