Meetings
PTA meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of the month. All meetings begin at 7:00pm. All parents, teachers, and administrators are welcome to attend. You do not need to be a member of the PTA to attend. Child care will be provided.
We urge everyone, staff and parents, to join the PTA. Your membership makes a difference.
Become a Volunteer
If you are not already a volunteer, please consider returning a volunteer form. The PTA is always looking for volunteers to help out in a variety of ways--from baking for school functions to helping out in the school. Most of these positions will take only a few hours of your time, and there will be other people around to assist you. Some activities can even provide community service hours for middle and high school students.

The PTA Works Hard!
The year has started off pretty slow but the PTA is about to get rolling. There are a number of activities that are coming up.
After School Clubs
We will continue to support the after-school clubs at Flower Hill. Look for information coming to your homes about the Geography Club, Runners Club, Drama Club, Chorus, and possibly a Chess Club. We are also looking into hosting the very popular Hands on Science (HOS) Club. This club is supported by Montgomery County PTA and has been revised. The club reaches down to 1st grade and offers many activities to students. Please sign your son/daughter up for the club most appropriate. Because of limited space students may not be able to participate in more than one club.
We are working hard to benefit the children. Take some time to learn about the PTA and how you can help.
